Caring for your daughter, building her future

On Wednesday September 20th, as a part of the Cork Lifelong Learning Festival,  an afternoon of music, poems, stories and images of Ireland’s Revolutionary Years 1916-1923 will take place in the school library.

It will include music by John McCormack, poetry by Padraig Pearse, and stories of Cork women and their role in that period.

This will be hosted by North Pres Adult Education, with the help of Transition Year students.  It’s a re-run of the commemorative event marking the 1916 Centenary organised for the 2016 festival.

Refreshments will be served at 12.45pm  in Room 1 and again after the event, which takes place between  1.15pm and 3.00pm in the library.

Booking preferred as maximum 80.  Contact Joanne Twomey Adult Ed Coordinator North Pres on 021-4303330 or 086-3439701.
